No experience necessary!
LPBC welcomes new and returning athletes for the Fall rowing season. Whether your child is trying rowing for the first time or continuing from one of our summer camps, the Fall season is a great time to get on the water, learn the sport, and become part of a LPBC Team.
Middle School Rowing - Fall 2026
For 6th–8th graders
Middle School Rowing is a fun, supportive introduction to rowing and being on the water. Athletes learn the basics of rowing, boat handling, teamwork, and water safety while building confidence in a positive team environment.
This program is a great fit for kids who are new to rowing, enjoyed summer camp, or want an active outdoor sport during the school year. LPBC’s middle school program is offered year-round, and new rowers are welcome to join at any time.

High School Rowing - Fall 2026
For 9th–12th graders
High School Rowing is for beginners and experienced rowers who want to train, compete, and be part of a team. No experience is required — many athletes begin rowing for the first time in high school.
The fall season is a great entry point for new athletes. Rowers learn technique, build fitness, and begin developing the habits needed to succeed in the sport. For athletes who tried summer camp, fall is the next step. For athletes brand new to rowing, this is where to start.
